While we only mentioned it in passing last week, we now have the full details on Warner Brothers Home Entertainment's new 45th Anniversary Edition of Doctor Zhivago.
The Oscar-winning film will be available on May 4, 2010, with digitally restored picture and sound. It will be available as either a 2-disc DVD (retailing at $24.98) or in a Blu-ray Book (retailing at $35.99).
The Blu-ray book will feature "...44 pages of insightful essays, cast photos, [and] historical film facts...", and will also contain a CD Sampler featuring 8-songs from the legendary Oscar-winning score.
Both editions will include the new "Doctor Zhivago: A Celebration" Documentary, and a plethora of other addtional features. Unfortunately, they appear to have all been available on the previously released 2-disc Special Edition DVD. They include:
