Early Details on "Astro Boy" and "Bandslam"

A bit of an early word today on two new family releases from Summit Entertainment.

The company will release Astro Boy and Bandslam on March 16, 2010.

Astro Boy, the animated film based on the hit Japanese manga series, will be available on DVD (retailing at $26.99) and Blu-ray (retailing at $34.99). Expect both to contain:

Featurettes
2 "All-New" Animated Sequences
Deleted Scenes
Image Gallery
And More!

Bandslam on the other hand, appears to only be available on DVD. The Vanessa Hudgens-starring film will retail at $25.99, and will contain:

Audio Commentary by Director Todd Graff and Cast (Participants TBA)
"Behind-the-Scenes" Featurette
Music Videos
Deleted Scenes
