After years of rumours, Paramount Home Entertainment will finally release the only film gracing the AFI's Top 100 Films of All Time list not currently available on DVD or Blu-ray - The African Queen.
The film will be available on March 23, 2010 for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray, fully restored picture and sound wise. Retail runs at $19.99 and $26.99 respectively for both 1-disc editions. Both will include the comprehensive Documentary "Embracing Chaos: Making The African Queen".
As well, the film will be available in Limited Commemorative Edition Box Sets on both formats (retail running at $34.99 for the DVD and $43.99 for the Blu-ray). They will include the restored film and Documentary, as well as:
