After years of rumours, Paramount Home Entertainment will finally release the only film gracing the AFI's Top 100 Films of All Time list not currently available on DVD or Blu-ray - The African Queen.

The film will be available on March 23, 2010 for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray, fully restored picture and sound wise. Retail runs at $19.99 and $26.99 respectively for both 1-disc editions. Both will include the comprehensive Documentary "Embracing Chaos: Making The African Queen".

As well, the film will be available in Limited Commemorative Edition Box Sets on both formats (retail running at $34.99 for the DVD and $43.99 for the Blu-ray). They will include the restored film and Documentary, as well as:

Audio Disc Recording of the "Lux Radio Theater presents The African Queen" Radio Broadcast
Senitype Film Frame Collectible Reproduction
Collectible Postcards
Reproduction of Katharine Hepburn's Memoir "The Making of The African Queen or How I Went to Africa with Bogart, Bacall and Huston and Almost Lost My Mind"
