concerning The Matrix Revolutions DVD that I happened upon
as I was doing my daily publicity check. I think Warner Bros. will
come out with an official transcript of this chat, but for now, here is some
information that I was able to jot down. I will definitely post the entire chat

Question: What special features will be included on the DVD?
Warner Home Video: - REVOLUTIONS RECALIBRATED: Drill deep into the making of
the final chapter, including a segment on Neo Realism: The Evolution of Bullet
Time;
- CG REVOLUTION: Explore the special effects arsenal, including a segment on
Super Big Mini Models;
- SUPER BURLY BRAWL: A crash course on the final Neo/Smith showdown, including
the segments Double Agent Smith and Mind Over Matter: The Physicality of The
Matrix;
- FUTURE GAMER: THE MATRIX ONLINE: An introduction into the massively multiplayer
game The Matrix Online created by the Wachowski Brothers;

Screen?
WHV: The DVD will be released in separate widescreen and full-screen SKUs

WHV: 2-disc amaray
Question: Will there be a 3-Pack including all three Matrix films?
WHV: No. The Matrix Revolutions will not be bundled with other Matrix titles.
Question: Will there be an audio commentary?
WHV: No.

WHV: April 6, 2004.

WHV: No, all special features will be selectable from the DVD menus. **But look
for the white rabbit.
Question: How many minutes of extra content will there be?
WHV: Over 110 minutes
Question: Will the DVD have ROM capabilities?
WHV: Yes, the DVD will have ROM capabilities. It will link to a promotional
site of The Matrix online game and the official Matrix site.
Question: What is the running time of the DVD?
WHV: The feature runtime is 138 minutes. DVD EC is over 110 minutes.
Question: Can you please confirm the pre-sale date?
WHV: Pre-sale date is Friday, January 23, 2004.
Question: Will the trailers for all three Matrix films be included
on Revolutions. The Trailers for the first two are not on their respective DVD-Video
content.
WHV: Yes, trailers for all 3 films are included.
Question: Are there any plans for a special edition DVD?
WHV: The Wachowski brothers are extremely creative and have a rich and complex
vision for this story and WHV is continuing to work with them to bring their
vision to the fans. We have no specific plans for a special edition that we
can discuss today.
Question: What is the DVD/VHS to PPV (Pay-Per View) window?
WHV: 45 days PPV window
Question: Will there be a fourth Matrix?
WHV: Although we have heard of no such plans, The Matrix story is to continue
in the massively multiplayer online game, to be released 2004.
Question: Are the extras 16x9?
WHV: No, the extras are full-screen (4x3)
Question: Is there a video game in the making based on this movie?
WHV: The game Enter the Matrix bridges The Animatrix, The Matrix Reloaded and
The Matrix Revolutions. The Matrix online game will pick up where The Matrix
Revolutions left off.
Question: Will there be any Spanish subtitles? This is a very important
question for those living in Miami!
WHV: Yes, there is a VHS Spanish-subtitled SKU available. The DVD features
Spanish subtitles as well.
Question: What type of sound quality will the DVD have?
WHV: 5.1 Dolby Digital
Question: Will there be different versions depending on the region?
WHV: No, there is ONE worldwide version with region.
Question: Who is the producer of the DVD?
WHV: Eric Matthies, the producer for all the Matrix DVDs.

- Research has shown that consumer purchase interest for Matrix Revolutions
is stronger than The Matrix Reloaded!
- Since consumer purchase intent indicates consumer sales will rival that of
Matrix Reloaded, WHV will be supporting this title with a massive
ad campaign that's at the same level as Reloaded.
- Ad campaign includes network, syndicated and cable TV, national radio, national
print and online. It will reach almost all U.S. households over 12 times and
generate over 1 billion measured media impressions.
- Consumer purchase intent for The Matrix Revolutions is stronger
than The Matrix Reloaded.
- The title will be supported by a massive advertising campaign at a similar
